As performing artist, she approaches her instruments in the same sensitive way as an impressionist or abstract painter approaches a canvas, encouraging sound colors to emerge through a variety of subtle techniques.
Her interpretations and creations are informed by a lifetime of diverse experiences drawn from a broad education in music, applied design, the natural and social sciences, creative writing, and the healing arts.
